Marc wrote the “Open Season” outdoors column for over 30 years, earning 135 writing and photography awards. He’s an honorary life member of the New England Outdoor Writers Association and received the organization’s Richard Cronin Award for his dedication to outdoor communication, conservation, and the field sports with rod and gun.

In addition to being an outdoor writer and precious metals buyer, Marc also is a retired Natural Resource Officer [Shellfish Warden] for the Town of Mattapoisett, MA, and was employed by the Mass. Division of Fisheries and Wildlife for the division’s Tern Restoration Project in Buzzards Bay.
